Jewels Adair

Jewels Adair is a Ph.D. Student in Applied Social Psychology at the University of Windsor. Her research focuses on sexual violence intervention and women’s well-being. She is interested in understanding manipulation and gaslighting tactics used by perpetrators of gender-based violence and the consequent social-psychological outcomes experienced by survivors. Her goal is to use theory and research to dismantle societal norms that perpetuate violence against women, while developing environments that prioritize safety and support. She is currently working with the H.E.A.L lab on the medical gaslighting project.
